St. Mary's welcomes
Father Piotr Bialkowski to our congregation.

Fr. Piotr Bialkowski came to St. Mary of the Presentation parish on June 13, 2006, and has served the Suffolk community since that time.  

A native of Radom, Poland, he completed his seminary work and master’s degree of theology in his home country and was ordained to the priesthood on June 17, 2000.  

Fr. Piotr was stationed in Poland until he came to Virginia in 2004. His first assignment was Blessed Sacrament Church in Norfolk, followed by Prince of Peace parish in Chesapeake. 

He enjoys working in the Suffolk community and with St. Mary’s parish of approximately 320 families. 

“I like St. Mary’s because of the warmth of the people and their open hearts, warm and welcoming and patient,” said Fr. Piotr. “It’s always nice to work in a small community where everyone knows everybody.”
